Baptist Hospital East's Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation staff helps heart and lung patients recover and maintain good health. The three-phase Cardiac Rehabilitation program concentrates on helping heart patients make necessary changes in their lifestyles and maintain healthy fitness levels once they have recovered from surgery, angioplasty or heart attack.

The Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program offers both Phase II and Phase III programs to persons suffering from chronic lung problems, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation is located in the 4002 Building, next to the main hospital.
